Purpose
EthiScan Pro is a professional security assessment tool. This policy defines what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable use of our Service. All users must adhere to this policy as a condition of using EthiScan Pro.
✅ Acceptable Use
- Scanning your own websites, servers, and web applications.
- Security testing with explicit written authorization from the target's owner.
- Penetration testing as part of a professional engagement with client consent.
- Academic and educational security research on authorized systems.
- Bug bounty hunting within the scope defined by the program.
- Continuous monitoring of your own infrastructure for security vulnerabilities.
❌ Prohibited Use
- Scanning websites, servers, or systems without authorization from the owner.
- Using scan results to exploit, attack, or compromise any system.
- Conducting denial-of-service or flooding attacks.
- Scanning government, financial, or critical infrastructure systems without authorization.
- Reselling or redistributing scan capabilities to unauthorized parties.
- Automated mass scanning of random IP ranges or domains.
- Using the Service to facilitate criminal activity of any kind.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or compromise the EthiScan Pro platform itself.
Rate Limits & Fair Use
To ensure service quality for all users, rate limits are enforced per account. Free accounts are limited to 5 scans/month. Pro accounts to 200 scans/month. Automated scanning must use the official API with appropriate delays between requests.
Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
- Forfeiture of any subscription fees paid.
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.
- Civil or criminal legal action where applicable.
Reporting Abuse
If you believe EthiScan Pro is being used to scan your systems without authorization, please contact us immediately through the support channel. We take all abuse reports seriously and investigate promptly.
